We, the "Leilich family", live in a multi-generation house in the Palatinate Forest. For many years animals , especially dogs, belong to our household. Since 2020 we have the Barbet Yara (Dila vom Burgerwald) and her buddy Finsch, a small mongrel.
We are so enthusiastic about the versatile qualities of the Barbet breed that we decided to breed. The whole family is involved in the establishment of the breeding.
Yara is trained for hunting and proved her therapeutic aptitude during visiting service in the hospice.

It is important to us that we not only know practically about dogs and their breeding. For this reason, we have participated in various trainings and tests on the subject of dog ownership and breeding. These include:

• Breeders seminar 2022 on the subject of breeding bitch and dog of the veterinary practice at the Dorney
• Advanced training 2022 on the subject of biology of puppy development and problems during the rearing period as well as reproductive problems and mammary diseases of the VDH Saar e.V.
• New breeder training 2022 of the VDH Saar e.V.
• Participation in the course first aid on dogs 2022
• Theoretical test for the companion dog test (similar to "dog driving license")
• Online Breeders Day 2021 of LABOKLIN GmbH & Co. KG
• Advanced training 2021 on the subject of liability - buying and selling from LABOKLIN GmbH & Co. KG
• Advanced training 2021 on the topic of reproductive medicine by LABOKLIN GmbH & Co. KG
